Broken String Band
Broken String Band plays all your favorite feel-good hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. With singer-songwriter Jennifer Triplett and seasoned guitarist/vocalist Ray Paice, this duo brings great music and good vibes wherever they go. Whether it’s Folk, Blues, Classic Rock, Country, or Pop, they keep things fun and memorable for everyone.
Lead Singer, Bass & Guitar
Jennifer Triplett
Jennifer is the lead vocalist and self-taught multi-instrumentalist. A songwriter since childhood, Jennifer recently made a dedicated push into performance, receiving vocal and stage/performance mentorship from local talents Lee Priddy of Priddy Music Academy & band Honey Sol and Voice Coach Jeanette Kruezburg. Jennifer is also an owner at the marketing company Treebranch Group, and active memeber of the Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce.
Lead Guitar & Singer
Ray Paice
Ray anchors the band with decades of professional experience, having played guitar in bands, collaborated with artists, since his late teens. Ray brings veteran musicianship and high energy to get the crowd engaged when appropriate along with singing lead and harmony. He also was a pilot and currently an engineer.
More recently, he has been playing as a solo act named ‘Changing Paice’ performing at local venues.
Ray and his wife live with their two dogs near Ellicot City.
